You will be picked up from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by your licensed tour guide and be transferred by private A/C vehicle to the West Bank. The twin seated statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first site we’ll see before we visit the legendary Valleys of the Kings, where 64 ancient Egyptian rulers lie buried in the Valley of the Kings including the burial chamber of the boy king Tutankhamen. Archaeologist Howard Carter discovered his intact and treasure -filled tomb in 1922. West bank’s touring also includes the spectacular Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only pharaonic female ruler, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces. Lunch is included and then continue to Karnak, Where the many –columned temples await your arrival. Karnak temple is the greatest example of worship in the history of Luxor. Your Egyptologist will take you on a journey of discovery through the huge temple complex. Wonder at the obelisks, huge columned Great Hypostyle Hall and the sacred lake, Proceed to Luxor Temple via the 3 kilometer Long Avenue of Sphinxes. Next visit Luxor temple, lost for centuries beneath the streets of the town till unearthed by Mariette 1860.The striking Temple of Luxor is dedicated to the god Amun.
