Welcome to Egypt and the start of your family holiday! Upon arrival into Cairo international airport, you will be met by Misr travel tour manager who will issue your entry visa (included) and escort you through customs and immigration formalities. Transfer from the airport to your chosen hotel by private air conditioned deluxe coach. After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.

Egypt is brimming with ancient wonders and today we will discover some of its most impressive. Tour the legendary pyramids complex at Giza with your private tour guide this morning. Then Climb up camel for a short ride to make the experience unforgettable and see the iconic Sphinx. After lunch at local restaurant, visit the famous Egyptian Museum, home of the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world, including the stunning gold funerary mask of King Tutankhamen. Continue your tour to Coptic Cairo to see Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Hanging Church. Then Stroll into the winding alleys of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, the most interesting local souks (markets). Cairo is a wonderful city to explore! Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. Later this evening we will make our way to the train station for our overnight journey to Luxor by sleeper train. Upon arrival in Luxor, home of the ancient city of thebes, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Meet your tour guide for a tour of Karnak Temple, Egypt’s finest ancient temple and the most important place of worship with private Tour Guide. Wonder at the obelisks, huge columned great Hypostyle hall and the sacred lake. Proceed to Luxor temple via the awe-inspiring nearly 2 miles long Avenue of Sphinxes. The striking temple of Luxor was dedicated to the god Amun-Ra in ancient Egyptian times. Later, in the evening, set off on an adventure as you board a traditional felucca sailing boat along the River Nile past the beautiful scenes of Egyptian life around you.

This morning cross over to the West Bank of the Nile, home to the famed Valley of the Kings, where 62 ancient Egyptian rulers lie buried including the visit to the burial chamber of “the boy king,” Tutankhamen with its fascinating 35century old walls paintings. Touring will continue to the temple of the Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female ruler. Also, enjoy a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon. The remainder of the day at your own leisure!
