Arrival Luxor

Misr Travel representative will meet and assist you in the airport or train station in Luxor then transfer you to the dahabiya cruise for embarkation.  After lunch on board you visit the West Bank of Luxor, sightseeing includes The Valley of the Kings – where over 60 tombs have been discovered, and the impressive Cliff side Temple of Hatsheput, built by Pharaonic Egypt’s only female ruler, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and enjoy a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon ) Overnight in Luxor.

Sailing to Kom Ombo

In the morning sail to Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and you can still view the remains of an ancient mummified crocodile, which was worshiped here thousands of years ago. It was built on the honor of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus.  then free time and overnight.

The High Dam & Philae Temple

Breakfast and visit the Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s.  It is incorporating 16 times the amount of material that went into the Great Pyramid at Giza .Take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka. The Temple of Philae was dismantled and relocated here due to flooding, when the Aswan Dam was constructed, free time. Overnight in Aswan.
